My first food

Hello my bear,

Today is a good day. I want to tell you something. This really makes me happy! :D

Yesterday I wanted to cook something by myself. To be honest, I don’t know how to cook, I’m bad at cooking but I'm trying... because my father said that a woman should know how to cook so then when she married she could cook for her husband and pleased him. And thus I began to learn how to cook to my sister (psst my mother doesn’t know how to cook too so I didn’t have a choice but my sister). So I went to a supermarket alone and bought ingredients to make something nice. Well, my favourite food. It’s ‘terung balado’. I have seen my sister made it once so I would use my memories to make it. Hehe

I bought onions, chilly and of course eggplant. I didn’t immediately cook it because when I came home after grocery shopping, the sky was dark so it made me feel scare…somehow…so I postponed it. Even if yesterday was such a good opportunity because no one home. This cooking thing is a secret of mine, and mine alone. I don’t want my family knows!

And today, I cooked!!

This morning, as always, no one home, except me of course so I began to wash the ingredients, then slice the onions, chilly and eggplant. Then I blend the onions, chilly and some salt. After that, I cooked the eggplants using a little fire. I didn’t know until when I should cook the eggplants, some of them were burnt but oh well….. And then after those were cooked enough, I placed it into a plate. Then I cooked the ingredients until it smelt a nice smell. Then I put the eggplants into it. I cooked it for a while.

Deeply sorry it was a bit strange…. Because I didn’t read how to make it.. only used my memory…. But the taste isn’t that bad!!! almost exactly the same as my sister’s once made… maybe I have a talent in cooking after all! HAHAHA cough cough

Anyway, because I was home alone, I hope when my parents and my sister come home (this is Saturday so they SHOULD come home. I don’t want to be left alone anymore) and see my cook they will like it. I hope.

But ahh… whatever they would say, I am still proud of myself!
